1Our agreement with you
These Terms of Service govern your use of NoSlop and any related app, website, extension, or service we provide.
By using NoSlop, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use NoSlop.
2Using NoSlop
NoSlop is an iOS app that helps you reduce unnecessary AI use, hide certain AI-generated surfaces, open supported apps in protected sessions, choose leaner AI options, and track estimated clean water saved from avoided AI queries.
You are responsible for your use of NoSlop and for the apps, websites, AI tools, third-party accounts, and device settings you choose to block, allow, log in to, or configure.
3Water savings estimates
NoSlop's water-savings figures are estimates, not direct measurements. We generally calculate them by multiplying qualifying events recorded by the app, such as blocked attempts or hidden AI features, by an assumed amount of water per event, then applying unit conversions, rounding, and illustrative comparisons. A recorded event does not prove that a specific AI request would otherwise have occurred or that preventing it caused an immediate, corresponding reduction in a data center's water use.
The assumptions may come from published research, public reporting, product settings, and industry averages. Estimates of AI-related water use are inherently uncertain and can vary materially with the provider, model, request type, workload, data-center location, weather, energy source, cooling method, measurement boundary, and time period. Available studies may use different definitions and methods, and actual water use or savings for a particular interaction may be higher, lower, or zero.
Event detection may also be incomplete or inaccurate. NoSlop does not inspect or verify a provider's actual resource use, and its estimates do not constitute a life-cycle assessment or account for every direct or indirect environmental effect. We may revise our assumptions or methodology as information and the service change; estimates produced at different times may therefore not be comparable.
These figures are provided only for general educational, awareness, and motivational purposes. They are not guarantees of actual water savings, reductions in water withdrawal or consumption, environmental offsets, carbon or water credits, audited sustainability claims, or proof of any environmental benefit. You should not rely on them for regulatory reporting, environmental accounting, investment decisions, purchasing decisions, or claims to third parties.
4Blocking and extension features
NoSlop may use Screen Time controls, Safari extension behavior, protected web sessions, schedules, selected domains, and app settings to help reduce low-value AI activity.
Some features depend on Apple APIs, device permissions, Safari settings, third-party website behavior, and network conditions. We cannot guarantee that every AI surface will be blocked, hidden, detected, or counted.
5Apps tab and protected web sessions
The Apps tab may open supported third-party apps and websites inside NoSlop-owned protected web sessions so NoSlop can apply blocking rules to selected AI surfaces, native-app handoff links, and related shortcuts.
Some protected app sessions may require you to sign in directly with the third-party service. Your login credentials are submitted to that third-party service through its own website. NoSlop does not ask for, receive, or store your password.
Your use of third-party accounts, websites, content, and services remains governed by their own terms and privacy policies. NoSlop cannot guarantee that every AI feature, redirect, or native-app launch will be blocked.
6Subscriptions and payments
Paid features may be offered through Apple, RevenueCat, or other payment and subscription providers. Pricing, trials, renewals, cancellations, and refunds are handled through the provider shown at purchase.
You are responsible for reviewing the subscription terms presented before you buy or start a trial.
7Your data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what information NoSlop collects, how it is used, and the choices available to you.
You agree that NoSlop may process app settings, diagnostics, subscription status, protected-session settings, blocked-attempt events, and related service data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8Acceptable use
Do not misuse NoSlop, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, reverse engineer protected parts of the app, or use NoSlop in a way that violates law or third-party rights.
NoSlop is intended for personal productivity and awareness. It is not a substitute for professional, legal, medical, financial, environmental, or regulatory advice.
9Intellectual property
NoSlop, its interface, text, graphics, code, design, and brand assets are owned by NoSlop or its licensors.
These terms do not grant you rights to use NoSlop branding, source code, or other protected materials except as needed to use the app.
10As-is disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoSlop is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise. We disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that NoSlop will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that it will provide perfect blocking, exact water accounting, or compatibility with every third-party app, website, AI model, device, or platform change.
11Termination and suspension
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to some or all of NoSlop at our discretion, with or without notice, including if we reasonably believe you violated these terms, created risk or legal exposure, or misused the service.
You may stop using NoSlop at any time. Deleting the app or losing access does not automatically cancel an active subscription; subscriptions must be managed through the provider used to purchase them, such as Apple.
Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnification, governing law, dispute resolution, and amounts owed.
12Indemnification
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless NoSlop, its owner, affiliates, licensors, service providers, and their respective officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and reasonable legal fees arising out of or related to your misuse of NoSlop, your breach of these terms, content or materials you submit or transmit through the service, or your violation of law or another person's rights.
We may control the defense of any covered claim, and you agree to cooperate with that defense. You may not settle a covered claim in a way that admits liability by or imposes obligations on NoSlop without our prior written consent.
13Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, NoSlop and the parties listed in the indemnification section will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, including loss of data, profits, revenue, goodwill, use, or business interruption, even if advised that such damages were possible.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total aggregate liability of NoSlop and those parties for all claims arising out of or related to NoSlop or these terms will not exceed the amount you paid for NoSlop in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or one hundred U.S. dollars if you did not pay for NoSlop.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limitations. In those jurisdictions, these disclaimers and limitations apply only to the extent permitted by law, and nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
14Governing law
These terms and any dispute arising out of or related to NoSlop are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of the arbitration agreement below.
This choice of law does not deprive you of protections that cannot be waived under the law where you live.
15Dispute resolution and arbitration
Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute informally. If we cannot resolve a dispute within 30 days after written notice, either you or NoSlop may elect to have the dispute finally resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules and Mediation Procedures, except as modified by these terms and except where arbitration is prohibited by law.
Arbitration will take place on an individual basis. You and NoSlop waive any right to a jury trial or to participate in a class action, class arbitration, representative action, private attorney general action, or consolidated proceeding, to the fullest extent permitted by law. If this individual-proceedings requirement is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim must proceed in court and not in arbitration.
Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. Either party may seek temporary or preliminary injunctive relief in court to protect intellectual property, security, privacy, or confidential information while arbitration is pending.
You may opt out of this arbitration clause within 30 days after you first accept these terms by emailing contact@sollenlabs.com with your name, the email address you use for NoSlop if any, and a clear statement that you opt out of arbitration. Opting out will not affect any other part of these terms.
Unless the AAA rules require otherwise, arbitration may be conducted by video, phone, or written submissions. The legal seat of arbitration will be New Jersey, United States. Fees will be allocated as required by the AAA Consumer Arbitration Rules and applicable law.
For any dispute that is not subject to arbitration or eligible for small claims court, you and NoSlop consent to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in New Jersey, except where applicable law does not permit that choice.
16Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you through the app, website, or another appropriate channel.
Your continued use of NoSlop after updated terms take effect means you accept the updated terms.
